McBeamers NBA DFS 1.10

Updated 5:15 pm CST:

Lots of updates, and probably more to come:

•Steph Curry and Klay Thompson OUT (Kevin Durant is active, PLAY)

•Allen Crabbe ACTIVE, was Doubtful this morning (May hurt Caris Levert’s value)

•Milos Teodosic OUT (Jawun Evans, CJ Williams both tournament options)

•James Johnson SUSPENDED (Adebayo an option in tournaments)

UPDATED LINEUP SUGGESTIONS (FOR DK):

•Jack > L. Williams > Antetokoumpo > Markannen > Whiteside > Rondo > Adebayo > Portis

•Jack > C. Lee > Durant > A. Jefferson > Whiteside > Levert > Portis > D. Cousins

Hey everyone, I’m back from my vacation and should have podcasts/posts up every day the rest of the week.

I know the formatting is a little weird, I copied and pasted my notes from Microsoft word, I’ll try and fix it before lock, but I really just wanted to get the content out to everybody!

  • PLAYER NAME > FD salary > DK salary > 5x value on DK > CASH/GPP/SIT (PLAY = Cash & GPP)

Miami Heat (102) @ Indiana Pacers (101)

Miami Heat

-James Johnson possible suspension, Tyler Johnson Q

-no chance to update salaries on either site

  • Hassan Whiteside > 7600 > 6800 > 34 > PLAY

-37.5, 37.75, 37.75 last 3 games

-Bam Adebayo had the best night of his career and he still put up 37 last night

-Incredible rebounder and defender, Myles Turner doubtful for tonight, easy     matchup

  • Bam Adebayo > 3700 > 3800 > 19 > GPP

-Watch news for possible James Johnson suspension

-Insane 50-point night yesterday

-Pacers rank 30th against PF, Whiteside will be at C, no Myles Turner

–Olynyk has struggled in last 3 games(19, 2x 10) , could be low owned and interesting in GPP

–Dragic +48 last 3 out of last 5, Tyler Johnson Q who takes lots of shots, 6500 both sites

Indiana Pacers

-Myles Turner Doubtful

  • Victor Oladipo > 9600 > 8800 > 44 > PLAY

-several 45+ point games this year, 70-point ceiling

–Sabonis needs (32) only hit value 2 of last 7, ceiling of 41, fade

–Thaddeus Young hasn’t played well even if he sees extra minutes

—think that the heat bigs will feast in this matchup

Utah Jazz (99) @ Washington Wizards (106)

Utah Jazz

  • Donovan Mitchell > 7200 > 7300 (37) > CASH

-above 35: 5 out of last 7

-pretty consistent scorer, has been averaging 18 shots and 36 minutes over the last 5                      games.

-not my favorite tournament play, much better value available on the slate

–Derrick Favors good matchup but needs 33 for value, hasn’t been above 34 since Dec. 1st

–Ricky Rubio at $5600 could be played in tournaments, but has a tough matchup

Washington Wizards

  • John Wall > 9500 > 8500 > 43 > CASH

-John Wall is always a safe play, been above 45 his last 4 games

-Bradley Beal has been playing better lately, so I wouldn’t suggest him in tournaments

  • Bradley Beal > 8000 > 7900 > 39 > PLAY

-70-point game against Chicago last week

-Beal has been hot lately, averaging 20 shots over the last 4 games

-John Wall is one of the best passers in the league, expect another big game

Dallas Mavericks (102) @ Charlotte Hornets (108)

Dallas Mavericks

-coming off b2b

  • Harrison Barnes > 6500 > 6700 > 33 > CASH

-very safe cash play tonight

-should play about 35 minutes, averages 5 rebounds a game + a few assists

-above 30 his last 5 games

–don’t love anybody else, DSJ has played well lately, but salary of $6100 is prohibitive

–Wes Matthews could be in play if you decide to stack this game, needs 25 for value, 5/7

Charlotte Hornets

  • Kemba Walker > 8400 > 7900 > 39 > CASH

-favorable matchup against a bad Dallas team

-consistently puts up 5 assists a game

-only 3 double-doubles this season, not a great tournament play

–Dwight Howard still much lower on DK, refuse to raise salary (8.7k>7.7k>38) another guy you can play if you want to stack this game. Hasn’t hit value in his last 3 games

–Batum overpriced, needs 30 for value, only done that 2 of his last 9 games

Detroit Pistons (103) @ Brooklyn Nets (101)

Detroit Pistons

  • Andre Drummond > 9300 > 8700 > 43 > PLAY

-love Drummond tonight, incredible rebounder against a Nets team with no depth at

center

-has been dealing with sore ribs so check before lock, but if he’s starting, he’s a good                    play in cash lineups or tournaments

–Ish Smith at $5700 is relatively safe, very good matchup vs. Dinwiddie, Nets 30th ovr vs. PG,                   doesn’t have great upside, best game was 37

–Tobias Harris overpriced on both sites > 6700 > 6900, put up 42 his last 2 games, but I think     Drummond will take the game over

Brooklyn Nets

-Allen Crabbe doubtful, DeMarre Carroll d2d

  • Caris Levert >6000 > 5400 > 27 > PLAY

-may be one of my top SG plays on the slate tonight

-struggled in his first game back going 2 for 13, but he’s a very consisten scorer and                                I expect him to bounce back

-has been running as the PG of the second unit, averaging 7 assists a game, and 2 steals per game

-extremely underpriced for the upside that he has

–Joe Harris in cash lineups, maybe even a desperate play in a tournament if you need a low salary filler, Crabbe is doubtful so should see around 35 minutes in the starting lineup. Only $4400 on DK, needs 22 can easily reach that just based on minutes.

–Dinwiddie at $6700 and RHJ at $6600 both seem overpriced to me, RHJ probably a relatively safe play in cash lineups, but I would fade him from tournaments

Chicago Bulls (-) @ New York Knicks (-)

Chicago Bulls

–Mirotic Q, if he’s out lock Portis in cash and tournaments at $4700

  • Justin Holiday > 5500 > 5300 > 26 > PLAY

-struggled with his shot in the last couple games, but played well averaging 4 rebounds             and 4 assists

-has been playing tons of minutes (38 per game), +26 4 out of last 5

  • Kris Dunn > 7900 > 7500 > 38 > PLAY

-feel like Kris Dunn makes my lineups everytime the Bulls are on the sate on DK

-they finally raised his salary to a normal price of $7500, but I still love him tonight

-above 36: 6 out of his last 8 games, averaging 30% usg. Rate

-already had 2 good games vs. Knicks this year

New York Knicks

-Michael Beasley Q

  • Jarrett Jack > 4500 > 4300 > 21 > PLAY

-above 20: 5 out of last 7, has been earning his minutes over Frank lately

-very good matchup against the Bulls, rank 28th in PG def.

-averaging 10 shots a game and 5 assists, very safe floor with good upside

–Porzingis decent cash play on DK at $8300, but he’s been struggling lately, would need 41 for value, only been there 2 out of his last 8 games, consistently putting up about 36, probably better plays on the slate

–O’quinn has player well lately, salary increased to $4100 on DK, but I would consider him if Beasley is out tonight.

New Orleans Pelicans (107) @ Memphis Grizzlies (105)

New Orleans Pelicans

-coach said, “good chance AD won’t play on Wednesday”

  • Demarcus Cousins > 11600 > 11000 > 55 > PLAY

-will be the featured guy in the offense with AD out

-has been above 54 3 out of last 5 with the huge 83 and 63 point nights in the mix

-both games he didn’t hit value (40,46) AD was the guy that went off

–Rondo interesting play in tournaments averaging 10 shots over the last 5 games, and always has the ability to dish out 15 assists. Wonder if AD out will hurt or help him

–check news for who will benefit most, my guess would be E’twaun Moore ($4,600), but if rotowire or any other news source announces someone else, consider them as tournament plays

Memphis Grizzlies

-Andrew Harrison d2d

  • Tyreke Evans > 8300 both sites > 42 > PLAY

-has been above 42 7 out of his last 8

-great matchup vs. Rondo, Pelicans 29th in PG def

-will most likely have him in a few lineups

–don’t love anyone else, someone will probably benefit from AD sitting out, but Gasol is the only person I would consider playing at $7600. This is the lowest his salary has been in a few weeks, but it’s also because the Grizzlies have changed their offensive gameplan from just throwing it into Marc and seeing what happens, to actually running plays with Tyreke Evans. He has 50-point upside and a decent matchup, so if you want to stack this game I’d entertain him

Portland TrailBlazers (-) @ Houston Rockets (-)

Portland TrailBlazers

-Damian Lillard GTD, don’t want to throw too many names out there

  • Nurkic > 7200 > 6600 > 33 > PLAY

-has hit value in 6 out of his last 7 with 3 40+

-huge boost in usage if Lillard out

–Mccollum ($7800) is a very safe play if Dame ruled out

–Evan Turner ($4200) very interesting in tournament if Dame is out too, can easily put up 30 fantasy points if he has the hot shooting hand

Houston Rockets

-Harden out, Nene out

  • Clint Capela > 7700 > 6800 > 34 > PLAY

-been above 30 4/4 even without Harden, very underpriced on DK

-Portland is very good on defense, but Capela probably has the best matchup and the                              most upside

-love him in cash lineups or tournaments tonight

–not a believer in Gerald Green yet, salary creeped up to $5300 and I feel comfortable fading him tonight

–Chris Paul will have a tougher time if Dame plays, but I still think he’s a safe cash play at $9700 on DK

–Tarik Black could be in play in tournaments, but would be one of the riskiest plays on the slate

Oklahoma City Thunder (104) @ Minnesota Timberolves (108)

Oklahoma City Thunder

  • Russell Westbrook > 11100 > 11400 > 57 > PLAY

-one of the few guys in the league who seems matchup-proof this year, salary slightly    prohibitive, but always has the ability to go for 80-90 on any given night

-as far as I scrolled down all I saw were 60 and 70 point games with a few around 55                 sprinkled in

  • Paul George > 7900 > 7600 > 38 > PLAY

-decent matchup vs. Wiggins

-has been right at value 7 of his last 8, 3 45+

-3 game vs. Minnesota this year: 62, 42, 41

–I would consider Terrance Ferguson in tournaments if Roberson is out again (d2d), but still      may end up being high owned
